Originals

These are the original works behind many of the designs found throughout DoggenHaus.

Most pieces begin as sketches, drawings, paintings or studies inspired by life with dogs. Some remain unique originals, while others later become prints, cards or products.

The focus is not on perfection, but on observation: the shape of a head, the movement of a dog, a familiar expression, or the quiet moments that people living with dogs recognize immediately.

This collection is based on original works.

Many of these pieces began as drawings, paintings or studies created on paper or canvas before being carefully digitized. The originals may remain in private collections, have been sold, or simply continue their lives outside the studio.

What you see here are reproductions and print editions that make some of these works available again. The subjects are familiar: Great Danes, dogs, animals and the small observations that come from sharing life with them.

Not every original becomes a print. These are simply the ones that did.
